Warranty Eligibility and Service

Our customer had been tracking eligibility for vehicle repairs with paper records, and they found that in some cases, services were being provided out-of-warranty, costing them time and money.

We developed an Intranet application that uses a central warranty eligibility reference database. This allows all of their service centers to confirm warranty contracts, regardless of where they were first issued.

Warranty contracts are scanned, uploaded to the central database and integrated with accounting records that verify date and type of vehicle warranty.

Using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), service department personnel are able to retrieve and view images of the actual warranty contracts, real-time.

The system also flags warranty services that require management approval and provides a full suite of online reports for service personnel and management.
